Krispy Kreme Celebrates 65th Anniversary of Barbie With Doughnut Collection

Krispy Kreme is celebrating Barbie’s 65th anniversary with a doughnut collection honoring the iconic children’s toy. Per a company press release, four all-new doughnuts featuring designs and flavors inspired by Barbie’s most iconic colors and styles are currently available.
Beginning today for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme shops, fans can enjoy and share the Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection in a limited-edition custom box. The delicious doughnuts include four tantalizing options:
- Barbie Pink Doughnut: Inspired by Barbie’s iconic pink and popism, this Original Glazed Doughnut is topped with pink buttercream, sparkly pink sugar, and Barbie sunglasses.
- Malibu Dream Party Doughnut: This doughnut, inspired by the playful style of the Barbie DreamHouse, features an unglazed shell filled with Cake Batter Kreme, coated in Malibu blue icing and sparkly graham sand, topped with a Barbie DreamHouse decoration, and finished with a white cloud piped on top.
- Barbie Berries ’n Kreme Doughnut: This doughnut is as sweet as Barbie herself. It’s an unglazed shell filled with Strawberry Kreme, dipped in white icing, drizzled with pink and purple buttercream, and finished off with a Barbie heart.
- The Barbie Sweet 65th Doughnut: Featuring iconic Barbie colors, this Original Glazed Doughnut is dipped in chocolate icing and topped with Barbie Sweet 65th sprinkles.

We’re bringing Barbie’s iconic fashions to life through delicious doughnuts that are sure to thrill Barbie and Krispy Kreme fans alike.”

In addition to the doughnuts, the company is introducing a limited number of Barbie Fashionista dolls. The dolls will include customized Krispy Kreme accessories, including a Krispy Kreme paper hat, a dozen boxes, and doughnuts. For those who wish to wear their love for both Barbie and Krispy Kreme on their sleeves, the company will include a custom Barbie x Krispy Kreme adult-sized denim jacket with each doll.
Between Sept. 4 and 6, fans commenting and tagging a friend on the Barbie x Krispy Kreme social competition post will be entered into a giveaway to win both the doll and jacket. Then, from Sept. 6 to 8, rewards members who purchase a dozen Barbie x Krispy Kreme doughnuts can scan their app at checkout to be entered into a separate giveaway for another chance to win.
Additionally, all guests who wear pink and visit a participating Krispy Kreme shop on Sept. 7 can receive a free Original Glazed doughnut, with a limit of one per guest in-shop and via drive-thru only.
