Krispy Kreme Debuts New Rewards Program

Krispy Kreme is introducing a new program that piggybacks on its existing Krispy Kreme Rewards.

The company calls it “the most generous rewards program in the history of doughnuts.” This transition is moving toward a more generous points system that will allow members to earn and redeem free doughnuts and beverages faster.

Beginning April 30, Krispy Kreme is giving all rewards members one free Original Glazed dozen doughnuts. Best of all, you don’t have to be an existing member to reap the rewards. New members who join between April 30 and May 11 can also do so. Current members will receive their free dozen on April 30. 

After that, Krispy Kreme rewards members can receive a dozen consecutive days of deals. These include free doughnuts and coffee, beginning April 30 and running through May 11.  

“While other brands seem to be making it harder on loyalty members, we’re making Krispy Kreme Rewards easier and even more generous,” said Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme. “We take a lot of pride in being generous to all our guests, and that’s not changing. By becoming a Krispy Kreme Rewards member, you’ll experience even more sweetness.” 

Here’s how the rewards program works: Members earn 10 points for every $1 spent in stores. Points can be redeemed for more items, including single, three-pack, six-pack, and a dozen doughnuts, as well as coffee and hot chocolate.

Subsequently, Krispy Kreme rewards members can download the rewards app and receive additional perks, including a free doughnut on their birthday, promotional opportunities to try limited-time products for free, and double points celebrating their anniversary month.  

Previously, members of Krispy Kreme’s rewards program received credit for every purchase of a doughnut, a dozen doughnuts, and coffee, and 12 credits were required to redeem one specific item for free. In the new Krispy Kreme Rewards, members can apply their points to any reward.

Customers can download the Krispy Kreme app and head to the Create Account section to sign up for Krispy Kreme Rewards. Existing rewards members can use their current credentials to sign into their new account. Any earned rewards will be transferred to the new program, and all members will receive bonus points for every visit made in the last year.
