Krispy Kreme & Hulu Join Forces for Movie Snack Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme and Hulu have teamed up for a fun new promotion filled with sweet treats and a bit of movie nostalgia.

A press release announced that the two companies joined forces to produce a limited-edition set of doughnuts inspired by classic cinema snacks.

Krispy Kreme x Hulu: Movie Snacks Doughnuts are ready to deliver all of the “snack-tion” of theater favorites like popcorn and slushies while watching a movie at home. The flavor options include:

• Blue Raspberry Slush Doughnut: A classic Original Glazed doughnut coated in tangy blue raspberry icing and finished with a dusting of blue sanding sugar.
• Caramel Popcorn Doughnut: A fluffy, unglazed shell doughnut filled with rich caramel popcorn-flavored Kreme, covered in smooth white icing, topped with caramel popcorn pieces, and drizzled with red icing.
• Cookie Dough Superstar Doughnut: An indulgent unglazed shell doughnut stuffed with creamy chocolate butterkreme, dipped in chocolate icing, and crowned with gold glitter sprinkles and cookie dough bites.
• Candy Double Feature Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut covered in velvety white icing, sprinkled with milk chocolate candy pieces and mini chocolate chips, then drizzled with chocolate icing for the perfect sweet finish.

“This first-ever collaboration with Hulu lets our fans enjoy their favorite movie snack flavors with their favorite doughnut while streaming their favorite movie. That’s a good night!” said Dave Skena, chief growth officer at Krispy Kreme, in a statement accompanying the press release.

Krispy Kreme Previously Released Valentine’s Day Doughnuts

The national doughnut chain is known for its limited-edition releases of specialty sweet treats. Earlier this month, in celebration of Valentine’s Day, the company released its limited-edition Hearts in Bloom doughnut collection.

The collection included:

• Blooming Heart Doughnut: A heart-shaped, unglazed doughnut filled with creamy Cookies & Kreme, dipped in purple icing, and sprinkled with delicate blooming heart decorations.
• Love You Bunches Doughnut: A heart-shaped delight packed with rich Chocolate Kreme, coated in vibrant red icing, and adorned with green icing stems alongside curled pink and red confectionary accents.
• You Are My Sunshine Doughnut: A caramel Kreme-filled heart-shaped doughnut covered in smooth chocolate icing, finished with a looping green icing stem, and topped with a sunflower candy for a cheerful touch.
• You Make My Daisy Doughnut: A sweet heart-shaped treat filled with fluffy white Kreme, coated in strawberry icing, and decorated with intricate yellow icing details and a charming daisy candy.
