Kroger moves up list of world's largest retailers

Kroger has moved from sixth to third on the National Retail Federation's list of top retailers. The acquisitions of Harris Teeter and Vitacost.com along with organic growth were behind the company's climb. The recently announced acquisition of Roundy's was not included in NRF's calculations.
