Kroger Expands Private Label With Trendy New Offerings

Kroger is introducing new Our Brands products that will soon hit the supermarket chain’s shelves.

In the coming months, customers can look forward to new products from the Kroger, Private Selection, and Simple Truth brand names. These new products will bring customers Kroger’s signature quality and affordability to more grocery staples.

Per a press release, Mike Murphy, the company’s group vice president of center store merchandising, stated, “Kroger Our Brands’ unmatched flavor and value make them a favorite for many customers. Our product innovation is rooted in a deep understanding of what our customers want and need. We know these exciting, trendy items will soon earn a place on families’ dinner tables because they offer great flavors at a price point that fits any budget.”

The new items include:

• Private Selection Salad Kits: Six new kits offer a mix of greens, veggies, and dressings, all prepped and ready to toss together. The new flavors include Cheddar Truffle, Blueberry, Cheddar Bacon Poblano, Sweet Onion Gruyere, Cherry Bacon Cheddar, and Asian Sesame Ginger.
• Kroger Brand Kettle Style Tortilla Chips: Thicker and crunchier than standard tortilla chips, these come in Traditional and Hatch Chile flavors.
• Kroger Brand Restaurant Style Italian Dressing: A blend of Italian herbs, oil, vinegar, and Romano cheese, aiming to mimic the taste of restaurant dressings.
• Simple Truth Organic Instant Mushroom Tea: This instant tea, available in Black and Chai, incorporates mushrooms for an earthy twist.
• Private Selection Muffins: New muffin flavors include Banana Bread, Blueberry Lemon, Coffee Cake, and Triple Chocolate.
