Kroger's new tech wasn't ready for the pandemic

Kroger's initiative to open large automated warehouses to fulfill online grocery orders is still in the build-up phase. That along with other technology investments remain in the works as the supermarket giant responds to challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic.
