L.A. Moves Closer to Fast Food Freeze

The Los Angeles city council planning committee has unanimously approved a one-year ban on building fast food restaurants in South Los Angeles. The area, one of the poorest in L.A., has the highest concentration of fast food restaurants in the city, according to a Los Angeles Times' analysis.
