L Brands’ attempt to sell Victoria’s Secret to Sycamore Partners fell apart last year as a result of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The retailer later announced that it was considering a sale of the chain or perhaps a spinoff as an independent company. Now, L Brands is looking to test the waters to determine the level of interest that prospective buyers may have in Victoria’s Secret, which has seen its online sales and profitability improve of late.
