Lawsuit claims chain pharmacies played central role in opioid crisis

A new lawsuit charges that CVS, Giant Eagle, Rite Aid, Walgreens and Walmart were actively complicit in the opioid addiction crisis in two counties in Ohio. The retailers have maintained in the past they did nothing other than fill legal prescriptions for painkillers ordered by physicians.
