Layoffs lead to distrust and worker resignations

Layoffs at companies, mainly those mishandled by employers, reduce worker "trust in management" and "raises anxiety" among remaining employees, who often choose to look for work elsewhere, according to Laszlo Bock, former senior vice president for people operations at Google and founder of Humu.
