Little Caesars Marks 18 Years of Military Support by Offering Free Food on Veterans Day

November 4, 2024

Little Caesars will mark 18 years of service and support to those in the United States military by offering veterans and active-duty military members free food on Veterans Day.

The restaurant will offer a free HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo at participating locations nationwide on Nov. 11. These meals will be available between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The combo includes four slices of Little Caesar’s signature Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi beverage, according to a press release.

No coupon is required to claim the free HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo. Veterans and active-duty military personnel must present proof of service, such as a military ID, DD-214 form, or veteran designation on their ID card.

Little Caesars President and CEO David Scrivano states, “We are deeply grateful to all veterans and military members for their service. This year holds special significance for us and our veteran community, as we are opening a new Little Caesars restaurant at Pearl Harbor, where our founder, Mike Ilitch, was stationed in the U.S. Marine Corps from December 1950 to August 1951.”

Scrivano continued, “Mr. Ilitch’s military experience at this iconic base laid a solid foundation for his future business success. Along with offering a free lunch on Veterans Day, we continue to support these heroes year-round through initiatives like the Little Caesars Veterans Program.”

Little Caesars Supports Veterans Beyond Nov. 11

Little Caesars established a veterans program in 2006 to support honorably discharged veterans transitioning into civilian life or pursuing new career paths. The company offers veterans incentives to help them start their own Little Caesars franchises, such as discounts on franchise fees, equipment, supplies, financing assistance, and marketing support.

The Little Caesars Veterans Program reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to give back to those who have served in the United States armed forces. Thus far, Little Caesars has helped over 260 veterans become franchise owners.

Little Caesars was founded by Mike and Marian Ilitch as a single, family-owned restaurant in 1959. It is the third-largest pizza chain in the world, with restaurants in each of the 50 U.S. states and 28 countries and territories.
