Longer Life Battery Gets $1.7 Million in Backing

Electrolux, the world's largest manufacturer of lawn equipment and other products for the house and home, has given Firefly Energy $1.7 million to accelerate the development of a new battery the company claims is lighter and lasts substantially longer than conventional batteries on the market.
