Lowe’s Launches Digital Home Platform To Support Its Loyal Customers
November 6, 2024
Lowe’s is helping its loyal customers manage their homes by introducing the Lowe’s Digital Home Platform.
Per a press release, the home improvement company introduced Lowe’s Digital Home Platform, exclusively available to MyLowe’s Rewards members, as a way to assist customers in organizing their purchases. Members can access free, personalized information about products in their homes, including warranties and manuals, search for maintenance suggestions and how-to content, and check recommended subscriptions and replacement parts.
If a customer purchased a major appliance connected to their MyLowe’s Rewards account, in-store or online, within the past five years, the appliance will automatically appear in their MyLowe’s Rewards profile. Subsequently, members can search for and manually add additional appliances. Then, the platform will automatically display all information known by Lowe’s about that appliance.
Jen Wilson, Lowe’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, stated in the release, “With our new digital home platform, we’re now making it easier to manage and maintain your home’s maintenance needs starting with appliances. Lowe’s is all about being a helpful partner and through the digital home platform, we can serve up the exact filter customers need for their refrigerator at the time it needs replaced.”
What Can MyLowe’s Rewards Members Expect?
MyLowe’s Rewards is a free loyalty program for do-it-yourself (DIY) Lowe’s customers. It allows members to earn points toward MyLowe’s Money just for shopping.
Members get exclusive offers, points toward My Lowe’s money, and free gifts. With the addition of the Digital Home Platform, there is even more flexibility in store for members.
These include product information, which includes access to manuals, warranties, and other related documents in one place. Shoppers can shop for compatible appliance replacements, parts, and maintenance supplies. The platform also offers maintenance reminders, how-to guides, and tutorials.
“We’re building towards a future where our customers have all the information about their home and home maintenance needs in one place — think digital twin for their home,” said Chandhu Nair, Lowe’s senior vice president of technology. “The Lowe’s Digital Home Platform is another way we are delivering on our Total Home Strategy, enabling a total home solution for every need in the home. We are excited to explore how this technology can help personalize the home improvement experience for our customers.”
