Luxury brand in EU wins battle to keep goods off Amazon

The top European Union court ruled in favor of luxury cosmetics group Coty in its plea to control where its products are sold online. Coty wants to bar its authorized distributors from selling its goods on Amazon and similar sites, a desire the court said “is appropriate to preserve the luxury image of those goods.”
