Man sues Buffalo Wild Wings over ‘boneless’ wings
March 13, 2023
Aimen Halim has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against Buffalo Wild Wings. Mr. Halim claims that the restaurant chain’s boneless chicken wings suggest the item is a regular chicken wing that has been deboned when, in reality, it is closer to a chicken nugget. “This clear-cut case of false advertising should not be permitted, as consumers should be able to rely on the plain meaning of a product’s name and receive what they are promised,” according to the suit.
