McDonald’s Is Selling 10 Chicken Nuggets for $1 Until Dec. 30

December 18, 2024

McDonald’s is offering its customers a special treat for the rest of the year: 10 of its popular Chicken Nuggets for $1 until the end of the year.

According to TODAY, the fast-food giant dropped the promotion on Dec. 17. Customers can use its app to redeem 10 Chicken McNuggets for $1 once a week until Dec. 30. This means there are plenty of chances to indulge in some inexpensive nugs before the new year officially begins.

If the offer seems familiar, that’s because it’s back. It was part of the fast-food chain’s “Season of Savings” from Nov. 4 to Dec. 2.

Additionally, the chain has declared the reappearance of two long-awaited items: According to Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald’s USA, the popular Snack Wrap will return sometime in 2025, and the McRib is back on menus for now, complete with a half-gallon jug of its sauce.

McDonald’s Discounts Available for the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

‘Tis the season for giving, and the fast-food giant has offered other discounts this month as well. Earlier this week, it concluded its 50-cent cheeseburger promotion.

At the Golden Arches, customers could purchase a double cheeseburger with pickles, ketchup, mustard, onions, and American cheese for just 50 cents. However, guests couldn’t use the in-store kiosks or go to the counter to buy the inexpensive double cheeseburger because it was only accessible to order in-app.

This is not the first time McDonald’s has exploited a cheeseburger for advertising. On Sept. 18, in observance of National Cheeseburger Day, McDonald’s held another 50-cent double cheeseburger promotion.

As Restaurant Business reported in April, McDonald’s has once again started focusing on value after losing some market share to rivals. The outlet revealed that the fast-food giant’s stance has significantly changed in favor of value propositions, quoting CFO Ian Borden. Borden compared the situation to a street brawl at the time.

“It’s a street fight,” Borden said. “Everybody is fighting for fewer consumers. We have to make sure we have that street fighting capability.”

This most recent double cheeseburger offer appears to be just another step in expanding the red-and-yellow brand’s perception of value. Last month, a press release revealed plans for an extensive 2025 McValue menu that will include the $5 Meal Deal and multiple buy one, get one for $1 options.
