McDonald's salad identified as source of illness in 500+ customers

The FDA reported on Friday that it had confirmed that 507 documented cases of illness from the cyclospora parasite were linked to salads served by McDonald's restaurants in 15 states and New York City. The chain pulled the menu item from 3,000 locations last month while it worked to find a new supplier.
