McD's brought workers back to the office and sent them home for pink slips

McDonald's, like other U.S. employers, had many workers doing their jobs from home during much of the novel coronavirus pandemic. It later brought those workers back to the office on a hybrid schedule. Last week it told them to stay home and then sent out layoff notices.
