Medical study: consumers buying less healthy food from non-grocers

A new study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine attempts to link the nutritional value of foods purchased to the store formats consumers frequent. Results show more foods being bought at club, mass and c-stores with poor nutrient profiles and more sugar, sodium, and saturated fat compared to those purchases from grocery stores.
