Men’s Wearhouse Debuts New Made-in-the-USA ‘American Bespoke’ Line

April 24, 2025

Men’s Wearhouse has introduced a new made-in-the-USA clothing line called American Bespoke. Designed exclusively by longtime Men’s Wearhouse partner Joseph Abboud, each piece is crafted in-house at the company’s tailored clothing factory in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

This new collection reflects a commitment to American craftsmanship, quality, and timeless style. A press release reveals that the parent company of Men’s Wearhouse, Tailored Brands, employs 400 talented craftspeople to create each attention-to-detail piece at affordable prices.

The release states, “The new styles within this collection incorporate high-caliber wool with added stretch, ensuring superior durability and breathability. The new Joseph Abboud designs offer an updated silhouette, featuring half-lined jackets for enhanced comfort and mobility, making them ideal for a wide range of occasions and climates. Each jacket comes with a removable American flag-inspired ribbon, in a nod to the collection’s heritage.”

“As a brand who has outfitted millions of Americans for over 50 years and is deeply rooted in domestic craftsmanship we are excited to expand the ‘Made in America’ collection with ‘American Bespoke,’ offering sophisticated updates to timeless suiting traditions,” John Tighe, president of Tailored Brands, said in a statement. “Our skilled craftspeople in New Bedford, MA take immense pride in creating garments that reflect both the heritage and forward-thinking spirit of Men’s Wearhouse. This collection embodies the perfect balance of tradition and innovation, allowing our customers to visit any Men’s Wearhouse store nationwide and leave with a suit that is tailor-made for them.”

The American Bespoke collection is now offered both online at menswearhouse.com and Men’s Wearhouse locations nationwide. Complete suits from the Joseph Abboud-designed line start at $599, with separates beginning at $170. On-site tailors help customers achieve the perfect fit.

In a market where consumers are increasingly mindful of where and how their products are made, American Bespoke taps into a growing interest in American craftsmanship and locally produced goods. Many shoppers view the “Made in the USA” as a marker of quality, authenticity, and ethical production, which adds emotional and practical value to their purchases.

Men’s Wearhouse is a prominent American retailer specializing in men’s apparel, including suits, dress shirts, formalwear, and accessories. Established in 1973 by George Zimmer, the company is renowned for its commitment to quality, value, and personalized customer service.

Men’s Wearhouse, David’s Bridal Find New Niches

Along with new offerings from Men’s Wearhouse, David’s Bridal also has found a new niche in the menswear market. The bridal company announced its first-ever menswear collection on March 31, 2025.

This launch allowed the bridal boutique, which typically only offered selections for women, to branch out into the menswear market in collaboration with Perry Ellis and Perry Ellis’s subset, Cubavera. The hard launch began with accessories and branched into suits in April.

This exclusive menswear collection is available to purchase directly from David’s Bridal online and in-store. The collection will launch in phases and ultimately feature 200 curated pieces from both Perry Ellis and Cubavera.

“David’s Bridal has long been a haven for brides and all women alike for special occasions, and with this expansion, it’s bringing the same expertise, style, and convenience to men, making it a one-stop destination for all,” said Elina Vilk, chief business officer at David’s Bridal. “From prom and homecoming to grooms and groomsmen, and even honeymoon looks, we’re providing stylish, high-quality options for every milestone. Together, we’re ensuring that men can look just as polished and confident as their partners for all special occasions.”
