Meta's Zuckerberg testifies at VR antitrust hearing

At a hearing in San Jose, CA, seeking to determine if the Federal Trade Commission will block Meta's purchase of a virtual reality (VR) fitness game startup, Mark Zuckerberg, Meta's CEO, admitted that yes, his company is “trying to shape the future of technology.” Given that the VR market is still in its infancy, such a move by the FTC would seem to set a new precedent in preventing Meta from cornering a market that has not yet taken hold.
