Catrike, which makes three-wheeled bikes for adults, is sitting on shipping 500 of its units because it has been waiting months to receive a part that it sources from a factory in Taiwan. “We’re sitting on $2 million in inventory for one $30 part,” said Mark Egeland, the company’s general manager.
