Montana bill to ban TikTok may have national ramifications

The Montana Senate passed a bill that would ban the use of TikTok in the state. The House is expected to take up the bill this week with a good chance it will pass and head to the governor to sign into law. “We’re under no illusions that this is not going to get challenged,” said Austin Knudsen, Montana’s attorney general. “I think this is the next frontier in First Amendment jurisprudence that’s probably going to have to come from the U.S. Supreme Court. And I think that’s probably where this is headed.”
