More people are working into their eighties

Around 650,000 Americans 80 or older worked last year, about 18 percent more than the previous decade, and most work in professional and managerial roles. People 75 and older are expected to make up 11.7 percent of the nation's workforce by 2030, up from 8.9 percent in 2020.
