Movie Studio Wants Blockbuster Liquidated

Summit Distribution, the independent producer of the Twilight movies, has filed a motion asking that Blockbuster be directed to move to Chapter 7 liquidation instead of seeking to reorganize under Chapter 11. The studio said the retailer is a week late on a payment of $1.6 million.
