National Coffee Day, another foodie holiday designed to make Americans celebrate the millions of cups of coffee they drink a day, is coming on Sept. 29. As usual, there’s no shortage of deals, offers, and promotions available from coffee shops all over the country. Let’s take a look at what’s up for offer.

National Coffee Day: Deals, Promos, and Offers

Shipley Do-Nuts, one of the largest doughnut brands in the country, is marking National Coffee Day by offering a complimentary signature glazed doughnut with any coffee purchase at the brand’s 350+ locations. The promotion is available to Do-Happy Rewards members only. Meanwhile, la Madeleine is offering one free drip coffee with any purchase in-store or online from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

Also on National Coffee Day, Paris Baguette, your local bakery-café, wants to brighten your day for free. PB Rewards members may get a complimentary medium hot or iced coffee, brewed with quality Lavazza coffee beans, with any purchase from Friday, Sept. 27 to Sunday, Sept. 29.

Paris Baguette’s seasonal fall menu, which features delectable treats like Chocolate Chip Scone and flaky, buttery Pumpkin Danish, goes well with the rich flavor of Lavazza coffee.

Peet’s Coffee is also joining in on the fun. Visit a participating Peet’s coffee bar on Sept. 29, National Coffee Day, and receive a small complimentary drip coffee or cold brew. Use the coupon code NCD2024 to receive 25% off a selection of Peet’s Coffee beans, K-Cups, capsules, and Ultra Coffee, as well as goods at Peet’s coffee shops and on the Peets.com website, through Sept. 29. Finally, Peetnik Rewards members can get a complimentary upsize to their cup through Sept. 29.

Last, but certainly not least, is Whataburger’s National Coffee Day offering. On Sept. 29, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests can enjoy a complimentary 16-ounce iced coffee or a comfortable 12-ounce hot coffee without any obligations or purchases. At any of the 1,050+ Whataburger locations spread over 16 states, it’s just pure caffeine pleasure.

The adventurous realm of Whataburger’s Iced Coffee is made from a special blend of 100% Arabica beans from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Colombia. It has a bright finish with notes of toasted, smoky, and nutty flavors, along with a rich, roasted scent that will awaken your senses.

Dunkin’ Celebrates National Coffee Day

For those hoping Dunkin’ is also taking part in National Coffee Day with a deal, you’re in luck. According to the chain, Dunkin’ Rewards members can get a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase through the Dunkin’ app on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the largest franchisee of Dunkin’ in the New York City region has been sold. Beach Point Capital Management LP has provided money to Metro Franchising, one of the largest Dunkin’ franchisees in the system with 105 outlets in the New York metro area. Stuart Cohen, the CEO and co-founder of the company, and Paul Waltzer, the president and co-founder, will continue to be shareholders in Beach Point. The previous sponsor of Metro Franchising was Quilvest Capital Partners.

Metro Franchising, founded in 1998, is one of the largest franchisees in the Dunkin’ franchise system and the largest in the New York City metro area. Franchisees of Dunkin’ do business as quick-service restaurant operators, providing coffee, doughnuts, baked goods, and additional snacks.

“The partnership with Beach Point represents a new chapter for Metro Franchising, and we are confident that with their support, we will be able to accelerate our growth locally and in new markets,” said Stuart Cohen, CEO of Metro Franchising, in a statement accompanying the press release announcement. “Beach Point’s deep understanding of our business and the franchising landscape is exactly what we need to further our expansion goals.”
