Nestle Buys Brazil Chocolate Maker Kopenhagen, Local Media Report

Nestle is set to acquire the Brazilian chocolate brand, Kopenhagen, along with its subsidiary, Brasil Cacau, according to reports from local media. The deal is estimated to be worth around 3 to 4.5 billion reais ($602.78 to $904.18 million). This acquisition comes approximately three years after Advent International, a U.S. private equity firm, gained a controlling stake in Grupo CRM, the parent company of Kopenhagen.
