Nike adds Juneteenth to list of paid holidays

Juneteenth, which takes place on June 19, commemorates the day that slaves across America learned of the Emancipation Proclamation. Nike has added the holiday to its list of annual paid days off as an “important opportunity to better commemorate and celebrate Black history and culture.”
