Written byChase BinnieChase Binnie

Nissan is delaying the production start of its next "Kicks" SUV model in Mexico by approximately six months due to the theft of mold components at a local supplier, reports the Nikkei newspaper. Originally set to commence in December, production is now expected to begin around June 2024. The theft has forced Nissan to push back the launch as it deals with this unexpected issue that lies beyond the company's control.
