Nonprofits don’t share Amazon’s view of Smile program’s impact

Nonprofits that have benefitted for years from passive contributions coming from the AmazonSmile program take issue with Amazon’s assessment of the impact of the program. Amazon said it was discontinuing the program believing that its money could be directed in more effective ways to charitable causes.
