Norfolk neighborhood becomes a food desert as grocer closes in the pandemic

A Save A Lot store was the only grocery store in downtown Norfolk, VA when the coronavirus hit the city and surrounding area. It closed last month, leaving customers like Karina Rayeford, who doesn't own a car, with no local place to shop for groceries.
