NRF Revises Forecast Upward

Stronger than expected sales for the first half of the year has led the National Retail Federation to revise its forecast for 2004 up from five percent to six percent. The NRF's sales numbers cover general merchandise, apparel, furniture and home furnishings, electronics and appliances, sporting goods, hobby, book and music stores.
