Number of online shoppers jumped 44 percent over Thanksgiving weekend

Nearly 96 million people went online to purchase products over the past weekend, a 44 percent increase over 2019, according to the National Retail Federation. The number of shoppers who went to stores fell to less than half what it was last year.
