Olive Garden Now Delivers Your Favorite Italian Dishes Straight to Your Door

February 27, 2025

It’s a big day for Olive Garden fans. Now, all your favorite Italian dishes are available for home delivery.

After offering ToGo for years, Olive Garden Delivery makes it easier for fans of the Italian-themed restaurant chain to enjoy iconic dishes they love without leaving their home. Olive Garden is now available for delivery at all restaurants nationwide, so guests can get breadsticks, soup and salad, and other favorites delivered straight to their doorstep.

“We understand that our guests don’t always have the time to dine in our restaurants, and our new delivery service gives our guests a convenient way to get all of their favorite dishes. Guests can now enjoy our freshly baked breadsticks and scratch-made sauces like the always-favorite fettuccine alfredo and so much more delivered right to their doorstep,” said Jaime Bunker, senior vice president of marketing, exclusively to RetailWire.

Per a press statement, Olive Garden’s delivery launch is via a first-party delivery partnership with Uber Direct. Here’s how it works:

  • Customers can place orders through OliveGarden.com or the restaurant’s app.
  • Meals are freshly prepared and delivered to their doorstep by an Uber driver.
  • To qualify for delivery, customers must reside within an 8-mile radius of their nearest restaurant.
  • Orders up to $350 are eligible for standard delivery, while larger orders can be fulfilled through the company’s catering service.

News of Olive Garden’s New Delivery Option Dropped in December

In December 2024, Nation’s Restaurant News reported that Darden Restaurants Inc., which owns Olive Garden, revealed plans to roll out individual-order delivery, coordinated with Uber Direct, to most of the Italian chain’s restaurants after the holidays. This would help the company drive speedier orders, reduce training time, and strengthen its data and insight capabilities at nine brands, executives said on a Q2 2025 earnings call.

Darden Restaurants Inc. began a pilot program for Olive Garden delivery in late 2024 after striking a deal with Uber in September. Initially, the delivery option was only available in 100 restaurants.

To ensure quick customer delivery of home orders, Olive Garden implemented a process different from other delivery services. The company ensured there were designated pickup areas where employees bring delivery orders to waiting drivers. This allows for speedier take-out service without disrupting customers dining in the restaurant.
