On Lackluster Earnings, Walgreens Scales Back Expansion Plans

Although revenues are up 6.6 percent in its latest quarterly report, analysts were expecting better and management now says it will reduce Walgreens' store openings to a rate of between 4 percent and 4.5 percent in 2010 and between 2.5 percent and 3 percent in 2011.
