One year after CVS cigarette ban, overall sales are down

The cause and effect is speculative, but since the chain stopped selling cigarettes, preliminary data from CVS Research Institute shows a 1 percent decline in pack sales in the 13 states having CVS pharmacy market share of 15 percent or more.
