The sale of pet products online grew to 22 percent of the total market in 2019 as Amazon.com, Chewy and others offered consumers selection, convenience and low prices. With the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, more pet product sales have shifted online. Digital now accounts for about 30 percent of the market.
