Panera Launches Non-Profit Bread Shop

Panera Bread’s new pilot restaurant, St. Louis Bread Co. Cares, is being run by a non-profit foundation that doesn’t charge consumers for their purchases but asks them to leave a donation instead. A sign behind the counter tells consumers to “Take what you need, leave your fair share.”
