‘Tis the Season for Panera Soup in New Holiday Cups

December 5, 2024

Panera has launched a new series of holiday cups, perfect for soup or a coffee break.

The fast-casual restaurant chain is “shaking up the holiday season with a surprising twist” via the launch of its first-ever limited-edition Holiday Soup Cup Collection. The cup series is the perfect vessel to hold one of the chain’s signature soups.

Panera’s soup, with over 140 million servings sold annually, has become a winter staple. Introducing a new series of Holiday Soup Cups is the perfect way to warm up on those chilly days when only soup will do.

“Our signature soups have always been a guest favorite, and this year, our festive holiday soup cups are sure to add a touch of warmth and magic to every spoonful,” said Chief Marketing Officer Mark Shambura in a press release. “These limited-edition cups are our twist on the holiday cup tradition, and hope our guests enjoy a uniquely Panera way to celebrate the season.”

The three Holiday Soup Cups will be available as a bundle sold exclusively at The Panera Shop for $10 while supplies last. The bundle comes with three cups and a $20 restaurant gift card to round out the gift.

What New Soups Is Panera Offering?

This fall, Panera introduced two new warm and flavorful additions to its signature soup lineup: Hearty Fireside Chili and Rustic Baked Potato Soup. The restaurant also heralded the return of its beloved and seasonal fan favorite, Autumn Squash Soup.

Everyday soup fare includes Broccoli Cheddar, Creamy Tomato, and Homestyle Chicken Noodle. Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice and Bistro French Onion soups also remain on the menu.

Customers can pair these soups with another new favorite: Ciabatta Dippers. A press release revealed these new Ciabatta Dippers in November, the French Dipper and Spicy Chicken Dipper.

This new menu staple combines the deliciousness of Panera’s hot sandwiches and a cup of soup for dipping. The new French Dipper sandwich comes with marinated steak, provolone, asiago, and a touch of garlic aioli on ciabatta, served with a side of Bistro French Onion Soup for dipping. As for the second option, the Spicy Chicken Dipper contains grilled chicken with salsa verde spread and provolone on ciabatta, served with a side of Creamy Tomato Soup.

Both of these soup and sandwich combos are only available for a limited time at participating Panera stores.
