Paris Baguette Declares Pies Are ‘So Last Year’ With Decadent Thanksgiving Cakes

November 21, 2024

Paris Baguette is taking a different spin on your typical Thanksgiving pumpkin and apple pies, releasing a series of Thanksgiving cakes that are sure to satisfy the sweetest of sweet teeth.

A press release announcement revealed that the cakes were available as of Nov. 1 but have really picked up steam as Thanksgiving excitement builds. From the classic, sophisticated flavors of New York-style cheesecake and the comforting scent of fall in the Maple Pecan Layer Cake to the irresistible combination of rich chocolate and salty sweetness in the Double Chocolate Salted Caramel Layer Cake, the four expertly made cakes have something to offer every palate.

The Thanksgiving menu includes:

  • Thanksgiving Double Chocolate Salted Caramel Layer Cake: Three layers of chocolate sponge cake filled with double chocolate cream, caramel sauce, and a hint of sea salt, all wrapped in a chocolate belt.
  • Thanksgiving Cookies & Cream Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake: Creamy New York-style cheesecake on a buttery graham cracker crust, topped with chocolate ganache and cookies & cream crumbles.
  • Thanksgiving Crepe Cake: 14 delicate layers of crepes filled with smooth cream, resting on a vanilla sponge base; available as a whole cake or by the slice.
  • Thanksgiving Maple Pecan Layer Cake: Vanilla sponge layers filled with maple pecan cream, finished with caramel sauce and a salted caramel macaron.

“At Paris Baguette, we believe every Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving celebration should include a feastworthy cake. Our team of experts incorporate decadent flavors and beautiful designs to create cakes that elevate every occasion,” said Cathy Chavenet, chief marketing officer at Paris Baguette North America, in a statement accompanying the press release. “We have something for everyone—whether you are hosting Thanksgiving with family this year or going all out for your Friendsgiving celebration.”

Paris Baguette Previously Offered Spooky Season Treats

This isn’t the first time that the pastry chain got into the holiday spirit. Last month, the company revealed its Halloween sweet treat lineup.

The popular Spider Mochi Donut and Chocolate Chiffon Jack-O’-Lantern Cake were back for customers to enjoy. The Mochi Donut had chocolate spider legs drizzled over it, a chocolate sandwich cookie on top, and cookies and cream white chocolate all over it. The cake was designed to look like a jack-o’-lantern, the season’s biggest star, and was topped with soft cream and a surprise candy corn-filled middle.

A Vanilla Scream Ghost Cake, which consisted of a vanilla sponge cake with custard cream, soft cream, and chocolate pearls, was one of the other Halloween-themed delicacies. The Halloween “Scream” Donut, a King Cream Donut stuffed with cookies and cream custard and encased in cookies and cream white chocolate with chocolate cookie eyes on top, was also available on the seasonal menu.
