Patagonia make a stand for public lands with VR film series

Patagonia was among the retailers and brands that were behind the decision to move the twice-a-year Outdoor Retailer Show out of Utah in response to that state’s position on public lands. Now, the retailer has teamed up with Google to create a virtual reality film of the Bears Ears region in the southeastern portion of the state. Bears Ears was designated as a national monument by President Obama before he left office. Utah, led by Gov. Herbert, has asked the federal government to rescind the order.
