Peloton to outsource bike production to reduce costs

Peloton will use a company in Taiwan to manufacture its bicycles and treadmills in a move designed to cut the company’s costs. Tonic Fitness Technology, which had been making Pelotons fitness machines, will shut down its factories. Peloton acquired Tonic in 2019.
