Penn Traffic to Close 53 Stores, Cut Thousands of Jobs

Penn Traffic has informed New York's Labor Department that it plans to close 53 P&C and Quality Markets and two warehouses. Over 4,000 people are expected to be out-of-work as a result of the action.
