Charles “Chuck” Feeney, the philanthropic entrepreneur who built a multibillion-dollar fortune and then gave it all away, has passed away at 92. He co-founded Duty Free Shoppers in 1960, amassing wealth that he later sold and directed toward various causes. Feeney championed the principle of “Giving While Living,” leading him to establish the Atlantic Philanthropies in 1982, which ultimately distributed $8 billion in grants across the globe, primarily focused on education, healthcare, and human rights.
