Pointing Fingers in Galyan's Fall and Sale

Joel Silverman, president of Galyan's Trading Company from 1996 to 2002, blames the retailer's poor performance and eventual sale to Dick's Sporting Goods on the "department store culture" brought to the company by its non-executive chairman, Norman Matthews.
