Popeyes Introduces New Pickle Glaze Chicken Sandwich, Pickle Lemonade, and Fried Pickles For Limited Time Offer
March 31, 2025
Popeyes fans — particularly those with a penchant for the brined taste of one of the most controversial toppings, pickles — may be excited by this latest bit of news from the fried chicken chain.
According to The Fast Food Post, Popeyes has introduced three major menu players all centered around the salty yet satisfying flavor profile afforded by the pickle.
- Popeyes Pickle Glaze Chicken Sandwich: The centerpiece of the new trio, this chicken sandwich is comprised of a fried chicken breast fillet slathered with a tangy and sweet dill pickle glaze accompanied by a variety of secret Southern herbs and seasonings. The sandwich is topped off with barrel-cured pickles as well as a crisp pickle slaw.
- Fried pickles: This tavern-menu mainstay is hitting Popeyes locations nationwide, with a box of crispy-coated pickles being fried until golden brown.
- Pickle lemonade: While it may seem a strange combination at first glance, Popeyes pickle lemonade promises tart refreshment. Available in both frozen and chilled varieties, pickle juice is blended with premium lemonade to produce this trending concoction.
The Pickle Glaze Chicken Sandwich is pegged at a starting price of $5.99 a la carte, or at $10.99 as part of a combo. Meanwhile, the fried pickles are costed out at $3.49 per order, and the pickle lemonade is slated to set thirsty guests back the same ($3.49). Prices and availability may vary across regional markets.

Popeyes Teases Pickle Menu Items on Social Media, Fans Respond
Popeyes has been teasing its pickle-laden new menu items on social media for some time now, beginning in earnest on Mar. 24 by posting a photo of a lemonade jar beset by pickles bearing the company’s famous logo. The caption read: “We’re in a bit of a pickle rn.”
The company also shared a blog post with the same theme, teasing that a full reveal was due on Apr. 1. Several social media users asked whether this might be an elaborate April Fools’ joke, to which the chain’s social media team replied with a number of coy responses.
The pickle lemonade in particular seemed to drive social media interest, with commenters on a Mouth Attack Instagram share outlining the teasing of Popeyes’ latest beverage creation endorsing the idea of the unusual drink.
“I had pickle lemonade at a pickle festival and have been addicted ever since,” one user wrote.
“Lemonade and pickle juice actually goes very well together. One of the restaurants in Disneyland serves it as a cocktail (they include vodka) hands down one of the best cocktails I has last year,” a second chimed in.
