Possible East Coast Longshoremen Strike Looms

Negotiations have broken off between port authorities of the East and Gulf Coasts and the International Longshoremen's Association (ILA). A possible strike would affect the handling of shipping containers and, according to the NRF, could be troubling to importers and exporters in the retail sector.
