President and Chief Merchandising Officer Leaving Penney

Ken Hicks has resigned as president and chief merchandising officer at J.C. Penney. Mr. Hicks, who is leaving to become CEO of an unnamed specialty retailer, will be replaced on an interim basis by Mike Ullman, chairman and chief executive officer of the department store chain.
