Amazon Teamsters Picket Two LA Warehouses Over Unfair Labor Practices

International Brotherhood of Teamsters

Amazon drivers from the DAX8 delivery station in Palmdale, California, organized by Teamsters Local 396, picketed two Amazon warehouses in Los Angeles County in a continued strike over unfair labor practices. The strike, which began on June 24, has seen Amazon drivers picket 16 warehouses across the country.

Workers demand better pay and safer working conditions, citing concerns such as extreme heat in delivery vans. The strike will continue until Amazon addresses all unfair labor practices, including reinstating terminated Palmdale employees, recognizing the Teamsters Union, respecting the negotiated contract, and addressing low pay and dangerous conditions.
