MSG Distributors, Inc. has successfully acquired Boxed.com, the membership-free wholesale retailer, in an all-cash transaction. MSG, a regional distributor of consumables and household essentials, aims to leverage its distribution centers to enhance Boxed’s services for customers and brands.
Mark Gadayev, president of MSG, emphasized the commitment to maintaining Boxed’s reputation for offering bulk-sized products at wholesale prices, while also introducing next-day delivery and a broader range of items and brands. The acquisition aims to revitalize Boxed.com and strengthen MSG’s distribution network to better serve customers across the United States.
